[HAMAS KUSHNER EGYPT GAZA PEACE PLAN] Today, U.S. Envoy Jared Kushner, Egyptian President Abdel Fatttah al-Sisiand and Egyptian Intelligence Chief Hassan Rashad, and Hamas Chief Khalil al-Hayya convened in Egypt to rework the previously rejected 15-point-peace plan for Gaza which was predicted to be and was rejected by the Israelis. Despite the Israeli rejecting the 15-point peace plan, at least eight Foreign Minister’s Muslim countries both condemned and rejected Israel rejection of the 15-point peace plan. Those eight Muslim Foreign Ministers came from the United Arab Emirates, Jordan, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Indonesia, Türkiye, and Qatar.

As an organization the leadership of Hamas has again stated that it was willing to commit to a deal which would put an end to the suffering of the people of Palestine as long as Israel would agree to leave Palestine, specifically Gaza. Within the framework of the agreement Hamas stated that it would completely disarm. Currently, Israel has been largely silent.

While negotiations continue many geopolitical analysts and pendants have taken the position that the talks that are being conducted are nothing more than verbal masturbation and should not be taken seriously. The reason for them taking this position is because nearly all have pointed to the historical record in which Israel has either reneged and has always and will at some point again find a way to torpedo any kind of peace agreement between the Palestinian Authority, Hamas, and itself.
