[Stephen Huey] If there were any words that could be used to describe 18th Congressional District Candidate Stephen Huey, it would be collective and optimistic. His calm demeanor and optimistic approach towards politics in both Houston and the state of Texas is refreshing by many of his supporters. In this segment, 18th Congressional District Stephen Huey provided insight into his life and what inspired him to run for political office. With an extensive background in the Texas oil, gas, and energy sectors, he was also able to provide insight into how his background could help not only voters within the 18th Congressional District, but also all Texans throughout the state.
The one thing that can be said about him is that he isn’t and can’t be brought up politically, which is another reason why his constituents and voters are supporting him throughout his campaign for office. The reason why it's important to know that that the integrity of a political candidate such as Stephen Huey can't be brought is because here in Houston and Harris County, the manipulation, compromising and outright bribery of political candidates through the act of campaign donors and donations runs ever rampant, which gives credence to the claims of Texas Governor Greg Abbot (R) that Houston and Harris County is the most corrupt city and county in the State of Texas when it comes to how they handle political elections.
