[2026 Bruce Bolt College Classic Usta Baylor University] The final game on the final day of the 2026 Bruce Bolt College Classic was nothing less than exciting as UTSA faced off against Baylor University at Daikin Park home of the Houston Astros. While many fans of both teams would call this game a “fair one”, it seemed that despite both teams playing well, UTSA had a somewhat of an edge in this game. In the first inning both teams failed to obtain a run, but it would be UTSA that would be the first to score four runs in the game at the top of the second inning. Baylor remained unsuccessful in the second inning.
UTSA scored another two consecutive runs in the third inning as Baylor University's trending inability to score runs would continue well into the fifth inning of the game. It wasn't until the sixth inning that Baylor University scored their first run. USTA remained consistent in terms of scoring as they scored another two runs in the fourth and another run in the fifth innings of the game. UTSA encountered a slowdown in scoring runs as Baylor's defense on the field proved to be on point in the sixth and seventh innings. It should be noted that Baylor was able to gain some momentum in the seventh inning, bringing the score between the two teams 9 (UTSA) 4 (Baylor University).
In the eighth inning both teams scored two runs, sparking excitement for the fans of both teams. Neither team scored any runs in the ninth inning. The final score resulted in UTSA defeating Baylor University 11 to six.
