[50501 Movement NO KINGS Houston Texas] Saturday, 1,000’s of Houston residents banded together in solidarity to protest the policies and actions of the Trump Administration. Houstonians gathered in mass from Discovery Green and marched to Houston’s City Hall. The 50501 No Kings is an organization that consists of a conglomerate of organizers from all round the country and has vowed to execute 50 protests in 50 days under one moment which is why they are known as the “50501 Movement”. We were able to capture protesters from all walks of life and political affiliations. Protesters consisted of both young and old and members from the LGQBT+ community.

With an estimated 15,000 protesters demonstrating, there were no acts of violence that occurred. This was a peaceful protest that whether you agree with the protestors or not, the 50501 Movement’s NO KINGS protest is real and it’s drawing a lot of attention to how many Americans feel about the policies and actions of President Donald Trump and his administration. Saturdays, NO KINGS protest featured both keynote speakers and Texas politicians. Watch the video for more insight.
