AMERICAN INCEL SUB-CULTURE

In America there is a growing sub-culture of men who are now considering themselves to be “Incel”. If you don’t know what the Incel sub-culture is, it can easily be defined as a sub-culture of men typically younger men, that wish to have serious intimate relationships with women that can lead to marriage but are either extremely hesitant or outright hostile against the prospect of getting into any kind of intimate relationship with a woman. Some detractors of the Incel sub-culture are willing to go as far as holding the position that men who are a part of this growing culture lack the ability to attract not only attract the kind of women that they like; but they lack the ability to attract any kind of women at all.

The question is, "Which perspective is true?". Currently, it could be said that both perspectives are true. With times, gender roles and the American dating, sex, and marriage markets changing, it's easy to see how a man could fall into this category. On the surface, maybe the detractors of the Incel sub-culture are correct. Maybe the men who fall into this sub-culture don’t know how to attract and engage the type women that they want and desire. However, if you look at how much the dating, sex, and marriage market has changed in the modern era, it's easy to see how and why it has become challenging for men to navigate the dating, sex, and marriage market. With that being said, for a growing number of American men, the juice is simply not worth the squeeze.

Gender roles and the social expectations of those roles have either been essentially “flip” or outright disregarded in their entirety. With that being the case for decades in America, there has been a significant uptick in men who simply “gave up” or have choose to withdraw from American women thus, forgoing their opportunity to find a suitable intimate partner. If you ask men who fall into the Incel sub-culture, they will tell you that modern women think and act too much like men and therefore American women present themselves a immediate mismatch in the dating, sex, and marriage market. Many American women disagree with this statement as they feel that they are gaining ground in the areas of gender equality and women's rights. But are they really?

According to men who claim to be apart the Incel sub-culture, they will quickly point out that on average, women don’t ask men to marry them (and they believe they shouldn't) as it is the role of men to see the value of a woman (as wife material) then ask that woman either out on a date, court, have sex, and/or even ask her hand in marriage. Even more importantly, these same men pointed out that the currently marriage laws are another thing that turns them off from women and ultimately marriage. When asked why, these men stated that its's because of the divorce laws and the lack of regard for their rights as men.

In America, not only can a woman legally divorce a man for whatever reason – justified or not, but she also has the legal ability to take half of that man's hard-earned income which he has amassed over decades of him working. All American men, regardless of if they identify with the Incel sub-culture or not, view the divorce laws in America as not only unjust, but outright weaponized against them as men. Augmenting their position, one man stated that “in Texas they [politicians] are in the process of passing a bill that requires a man to “prepay" child support before the child is even born. He stated that that was unfair to men given the fact that paternity of the child in question hasn't even been established. So, for him, in order to avoid any issues like this with women, the involuntary absence from women was his best option in order to protect himself.

The question now becomes: “what does this mean for women and the future population of America?”. For some, especially women, they feel that men who either find themselves in or subscribe to the Incel sub-culture aren’t the kind of men they want anyway. In contrast, there’s also a growing number of women who are finding it exceptionally hard to find an intimate partner to “settle down with” the older they get. This social issue in America has long lasting adverse effects not only for the women of America, but for whole of America in general. Without adequate sexual reproduction, the American population will dwindle. When that happens, America not only fails build its society, but it fails to be competitive on the global stage in all sectors. Keep in mind that historically it has been men that have built the world, and it will be men that will continue to build the world in the foreseeable future.

The question is what happens to American women when men no longer want to deal with them – even on a sexual level? And what happens to America in terms of national security? The world has never seen an army of women take over a country, but the world has seen an army of men take over a country. Food for thought.
