In yet another stunning round of escalation concerning the Ukraine-Russia War, is the highly anticipated decision of American President Joe Biden to allow the deployment of American Military Contractors in Ukraine. Reversing the United States ban of allowing American Private Military Contractors to deploy in this war, it signals that the Biden Administration is worried Ukraine continues to lose to Russia, thus verifying the claims of geo-political pundits worldwide that Ukraine is indeed losing this war.
Will these Military Contractors be engaging Russia on the frontlines? Currently the answer is no. What these Private Military Contractors will be doing officially is repairing the worn and battered and possibly destroyed weapon system that were afforded to the Ukrainians (or what’s left of them) by the Americans. Could the possible deployment of American Private Military Contractors be a farce? In other words, could the deployment of American Private Military Contractors be a pretext to place Americans in harm’s way to allow them to become a target for the Russian Military, thus justifying the entry of the U.S. Military to become directly involved in the Ukraine-Russian War?
Currently no one really knows. But what we do know here at VEDA Magazine is that President Joe Biden has not signed off on the measure. Even though President Joe Biden stated that he would not deploy U.S. Military personnel to Ukraine, the notion of utilizing Private Military Assets to circumvent that promise to American citizens will do nothing more than further complicate the situation and force Russia to respond accordingly.
Keep in mind that through the eyes of Russia, these Private Military Contractors are not seen as “simple workers that are there to work on battered military equipment”. To the Russians, these Private Military Contractors are seen as military logistic personnel that are servicing weapons used to kill not only Russians, but to advance Ukraine’s Neo-Nazi’s and NATO towards the Russian border.
