[Carmen Montiel 38th Congressional District] A Candidate for Texas Congressional District 38 and Texas favorite Carmen Montiel (R) has appeared on VEDA World News several times. But if you're wondering what's different about her appearance this time, we would say that not only is she even more determined to make her mark in Texas politics by running for the 38th Congressional District, but she is looking to have a positive impact on younger voters. Although Carmen Montiel previously campaigned for the 18th Congressional District, she is now setting her sights on the social issues that plague the 38th Congressional District.

When speaking with Carmen Montiel off camera, she expressed her “strong desire” to not only bring about the much-needed change to the 38th Congressional District which is located in Harris County but includes Tomball, Katy, Klein, Cypress, Memorial Village, and Jersey Village. But more than that, she is looking forward to advancing the educational system and empowering those that are impoverished within the 38th District. We also talked about the new Mayor elect, Zohran Mamdani of New York and what she perceives it to mean for both New Yorkers and Texans. She also talked about the Trump Administration and how its handling the 21 missile strikes that has killed over 80 people native to her country of origin Venezuela.
