[2026 ATP 250 Fayez Sarofim Men's tennis] The first doubles match of the seventh day of the ATP 250 Fayez Sarofim & Co U.S. Men’s Clay Court Tennis Championship begins with Andres Andrade and Ben Shelton going head-to-head against Rinky Hijikata and Ryan Seggerman. This semifinal bout ended with Andres Andrade and Ben Shelton defeating Andres Andrade and Ben Shelton 6-6 to 1-2. For Rinky Hijikata and Ryan Seggerman this was a mortifying defeat as they had their eyes set on winning this match. Andres Andrade and Ben Shelton acquired a serve rating of 319 with four aces, and one double fault. This was in conjunction with them having a first serve of 32/41(78%) and a return rating of 193.
Rinky Hijikata and Ryan Seggerman were able to acquire a 211 serve rating with four aces, and one double fault. Their first serve clocked in at 22/42(52%) with a return service rating of 60. Andres Andrade and Ben Shelton also appear to have fallen flat when it came to their point stats. The final match of yesterday's doubles featured Brazilian team Orlando Luz and Rafael Matos versus Mackenzie McDonald (USA) and Marc Polmans (AUS) with the winners of the match being Orlando Luz and Rafael Matos. It should be noted that neither team was able to score any aces as both teams played a very strong game on the court. Despite this Orlando Luz and Rafael Matos were able to achieve a serve rating of 301 with zero double faults and had a first serve of 41/50(82%), as well as obtaining a return rating of 244. Mackenzie McDonald and Marc Polmans acquired a serve rating of 202, with one double fault, and a first serve score of 41/58(71%). They also had a return rating of 131.
Observing the point stats of both teams although both teams produced results somewhat close to each other, Mackenzie McDonald and Marc Polmans scored 29/58(50%) in term of service points won, 17/50(34%) when it came to return points won, and 46/108(43%) total points won.
