[2026 ATP 250 Fayez Sarofim Men's tennis] It's been a grueling but exciting eight days at the 2026 ATP 250 Fayez Sarofim & Co U.S. Men’s Clay Court Tennis Championship as things are wearing down to today’s semifinals matches. The first of two matches today starts with Thiago Agustin Triante (ARG) facing a punishing defeat from Roman Andres Burruchaga (ARG) which led to a final score of 1- to 6-6. Despite such a wide gap in scoring both players played a match that was entertaining to watch. Thiago Agustin Triante earned 166 in terms of serve rating, with two aces, and two double faults. His first serve earned him a 23/41(56%) and a return rating of 42. 

 

The winner, Roman Andres Burruchaga, earned a 321 looking at his serve record which came along with him earning zero aces, and one double fault. His first serve stood at 21/33(64%) with a return rating of 253. Going back to Thiago Agustin Triante, when it came to net points won, he obtained 4/6(67%), with 10 winners, and 25 unforced errors. In the same statistical category, Roman Andres Burruchaga scored a perfect 5/5(100%) regarding net points won with five winners, and 10 unforced errors. His service, return, and total points earned were 28/33(85%), 24/41(59%), and 52/74(70%) respectively.

The second and last match up of the day would be between Tommy Paul and Frances Tiafoe. While many spectators of today’s event feel as if Frances Tiafoe may have reached the proverbial glass ceiling when it comes to his limits in the ATO 250, there are still some die-hard fans that faith that one day he can and will win the ATP 250. Looking at the service stats of France Tiafoe, he had a serve rating of 270, with four aces, and zero double faults. His first serve registered at 68/112(61%), and his return rating was 193.


Tommy Paul in comparison had a serve rating of 281, with 14 aces, and zero double faults, his first serve was 73/105(70%) and his return rating was 134. When it came to net points won, Frances Tiafoe had 7/11(64%), with 21 winners, and 28 unforced errors. In terms of service, return, and total points he earned 71/112(63%), 36/105(34%), and 107/217(49%). Tommy Paul in comparison had 14/19(74%) net points won, 42 winners, and 50 unforced errors. In service, return, points total points won, he earned 69/105(66%), 41/112(37%), and 110/217(51%).
