[Israel Palestinian] As the death toll in Palestine makes its way to 65,000, another 68 Gazans were killed this morning by Israeli aerial bombardments as Israel pushed it way deeper into Gaza. With another 164,610 serious wounded by Israel’s war of genocide, there is no telling what will become of the Palestinians. As the countries such as France, Belgium, and Canada poised to recognize Palestine as a State, Israel and the Americans are clinging on to the notion that such moves by countries will only embolden Hamas. As recently as last night, IDF Chief of staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir harshly scolded and demanded that Israeli Cabinet members to “take the deal!”, referencing the Hamas prisoner-ceasefire deal. Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir was met with prompt pushback from Israeli Cabinet members.

With the majority of Israelis supporting the idea that the Israeli government should take the deal in order to bring the hostages back home, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, is steadfast on continuing his push into Gaza, many geopolitical analysts are calling this approach both “a failing campaign” and “an action that will further bring turmoil and instability into the region”. Despite this, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio has vowed that America will continue to support Israel in its effort to “rid the world of Hamas" a feat that the international community knows is impossible.

Defense Minister Israel Katz stated the Israeli Press:

“As the IDF begins its major ground offensive in Gaza City, Defense Minister Israel Katz says that if Hamas does not release the hostages and disarm, the Strip will be destroyed. From Hamas, we need only two things, and it will not give them voluntarily: to release all the hostages and to disarm. The great force of the attack here… is directly defeating Hamas, and it also creates a larger lever for the release of the hostages.”

Hamas remains unwilling to disarm itself at the behest of Israel under the current conditions. Hamas has repeatedly stated [paraphrasing] that for them to disarm, there must be a Palestinian State, and the Palestinian people must be free from Israeli and American control.

OUR THOUGHTS AT VEDA WORLD NEWS

Israel will not “rid the world of Hamas” nor will the world allow them to continuously militarily displace and annex Gaza. With the recent aerial bombing in Doha, Qatar, Israel has effectively “slit its own wrist” in terms of having diplomatic relations with Qatar and other Arab and Muslim countries in the region. With Israel carrying aerial assaults on Syria, Yemen, Iraq, and Iran we take the position that it's only a matter of time before these West Asian countries execute some form of joint military operation towards Israel.
