[Jeffery Taylor, Paul Jackson, & Mark Woodhouse TDCJ] Jeffery Taylor of Triumphant Re-entry Resources (TRR) is no stranger to helping formally incarcerated offenders that are coming out of TDCJ (Texas Department of Criminal Justice). But in this segment, he thought it would be a great idea to bring a couple of highly successful ex-offenders that not only became entrepreneurs, but currently serve as the shining light at the end of tunnel of what can be achieved even while facing the odds stacked against them once released from TDCJ custody.

During the course of this interview, we had the privilege of speaking with Mark Wood house who is a highly successful mental health professional with his own practice in Houston Texas. We also had the great privilege of speaking with Paul Jackson who is a high-level IT Expert that has also established his own IT firm right here in Houston Texas.

During this interview we touched on their experiences while in TDCJ custody and how it has played both a positive and/or negative impact on their lives. From Paul Jackson being able to see the vast amount of corruption in TDCJ by being on the IT side of things while in custody, to Mark Woodhouse going in depth to the increase and the endemic of mental health challenges that both offenders and ex-offenders are having to deal with while in and outside of TDCJ custody; which tend to last decades after they’ve been released from custody.

If you have any friends or family members that are in TDCJ custody, this is a segment that you simply don’t want to miss as it is both eye opening and insightful to the conditions and challenges offenders and ex-offenders must face from day to day and to years to come. ypu can reach Jeffery Taylor at https://www.linkedin.com/in/jeffrey-taylor-29153230b, Mark Woodhouse can be reached at https://www.unifiedinspirationalcounseling.com, and Paul Jackson can be reached at: https://cybervisionis.com.
