[MENUDO CLUB EDUARDO LOPEZ DE CASAS BIGOTY RACISM REPUBLICAN PARTY] Infighting within the Republican Party appears to be at an all-time high in Harris County according to Founder and President of the Menudo Club Eduardo Lopez De Casas. What many people outside the Harris County Republican Party and what the Harris County Republican Party has chosen to turn a blind eye to is the amount of bigotry and outright racism toward Latinos within the Party itself. Despite all the rapid gains Conservative Latinos have acquired over several election cycles, Latinos within the Republican Party are still finding themselves unable to break the negative perspectives and stereotypes of some of the members of the Harris County GOP.

Eduardo Lopez De Casas, also reported that the negative reactions have not been limited to just voters within the Harris County Republican Party, but state representatives and other officials within the Republican Party have also played a role in the perpetuation of negativity towards republican Latino Voters. Reports of name calling and threats against the lives of Conservative Latino Voters from within the Harris County GOP were also reported. From the perspective of Eduardo Lopez De Casas, this is “unacceptable” considering that President Trump won an estimated 42% of the Latino Vote and of that 42%, 47% of that vote came from Latino male voters in the last election playing a vital role in aiding in his reelection.
