[Nicholas Little Meochea Money politics Houston Texas] During this segment with VEDA Correspondent Meochea Money and Community Activist and Organizer Nicholas Little, we had the opportunity to explore their perspectives on voting and how voting practices have an impact on the Houstonians that live inside and outside the boundaries of the controversial 18th Congressional District. We also touched on abortion and how men and women view this controversial social issue.
While many women believe in the notion of “My Body My Choice”, there seems to be a large number of men that also support the idea. This is not to say that there isn’t a significant number of men and women that even though they may support women’s rights, they by far and large believe in a women choice to have an abortion - only if she was a victim of rape
We also touched on topics that pertained to politics, the national social issue of homeless, and the economic uncertainty that most Americans are facing due to changing times was also addressed in this segment as well. Perspectives on the state and conditions of law enforcement within Texas and nationally were also touched on.
