It has been reported that the possibility of North Korea fully deploying its soldiers to the frontlines of Ukraine might be coming closer to reality than ever. In a recent article entitled: “NORTH KOREA DEPLOYED IN UKRAINE?”, we highlighted how the deployment of North Korean troops could not only help Russia but ultimately help the North Korean army. While it’s true that North Korea hasn’t fought a war since the 1952 Korean War in conjunction with North Korea making a nickname for itself as a “Hermit County”; it’s easy to speculate that the military readiness of the North Korean army may be compromised.
While some reports have indicated that this is true based on the fact that the current breed of North Korean troops who were sent to be of assistance to and learn from the Russia army against Ukraine suffered massive casualties, it can be said that North Korea needed that wakeup call in order to gain a more up to date perspective when it comes to how modern warfare has changed and what they need to do militarily in order to improve their military readiness.
For Russia, the possible official deployment of North Korean troops to the front lines of the Ukraine means an increase in the lifespan of Russian soldiers. This also means that Russia would be able to slow down the expenditure of ammunition of all times while allowing the North Korean army to make good use of its vast amount of ammunition it has in the extreme surplus. Keep in mind that from the perspective of North Korea, the Korean War is still very much alive as no official winner and loser of that war has ever been announced.
For North Korea, the possible deployment of its soldiers to the front lines of Ukraine means that their soldiers will have the opportunity to increase their military readiness via navigating the combat zones as well as through actual combat which results in both combat and psychological hardening. Another upside of North Korean soldiers being deployed to Ukraine mean that they get the opportunity to execute the logistical and tactical maneuvers required to make them an overall better fighting force.
Despite the possibility of North Korean soldiers being deployed to Ukraine, it is to be expected that South Korea will raise hell to their masters in America, because for them, the possible modernization of North Korean troops in the battlefield of war with Ukraine makes the threat of North Korea attacking South Korea a reality.
The world is changing and so with it is modern warfare and with modern warfare comes modern weapons and strike capabilities. As a chain reaction, the possible deployment of North Korean troops to Ukraine means the strengthening of Russian and North Korean military collaboration in the region. granted there hasn’t been any talk of any joint Russian- North Korean military strikes on South Korea, but for many people around the world that engage in doomsday fantasy’s, the opportunity for North Korea to initiate a hot war with South Korea provides them with their next hit of dopamine fix.
Should North Korea engage in a hot war with South Korea? that’s currently up for debate – just as it’s always been given the long-term posturing of both nations on the DMZ line. But the one thing that is certain is that the possibility of North Korean soldiers being deployed to the front lines of the Ukraine-Russia War seems to be a possibility that is increasing by the day as the North Korean army gets “comfortable” in the opportunity to upgrade their military units in the new era of warfare.
