[Vladimir Putin Military Day Parade] Russia President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin took the time out to pay respect and to honor the military servicemen and women of the Russian Military as well as the Russian families that have been adversely impacted and/or killed during World War II. This year's Military Parade takes place against the backdrop of the Special Operation now turned into a prolonged hot war with Ukraine now in its fourth year. It is agreed within the international community that the Russian Military has demonstrated great skill and restraint in how it’s been dealing with the transgressions of the Ukrainian government. While this year's Military Parade has largely nothing to do with the Ukrainian War, it does have everything to do with what is known as the Great Patriotic War in which Russia (USSR / Soviet Union) not only fended off but defeated Nazi Germany during World War II. It should be noted that despite popular opinion in the West, it was Russia, not the United States, that defeated Nazi Germany.
President Putin also took the privilege to invoke a moment of silence to pay respect for both fallen Russian Soldiers and their families who paid the high price during World War II to rid the world of Nazi Germany during this year's Military Parade. President Putin made the following statement during his speech:
“No matter how much the weapons are changing or how the tactics are changing, one thing remains unchanged; the fate of the country is done by its citizens, By the soldiers, by the workers, by the farmers, by the weapons makers, by the conflict correspondents, by doctors, and by teachers, by the artist , by the priest, volunteers and entrepreneurs, all by the citizens of Russia”.
The words of Vladimir Putin show the world how resilient and resourceful Russia is as a country and will continue to be. We at VEDA World News would like to take the time out to not only thank the Military of Russia for their bravery on the battlefield against Nazi Germany, but we would like to acknowledge the fact that Russia has remained steadfast and strong against the weaponization of sanctions placed on them by America and the Collective West and what can be achieved if other countries were to follow suit. With that being said, we at VEDA World News say to President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, the Russian Military, and to the people of Russia: “Спасибо тебе, Россия, за всё, что ты сделала и будешь продолжать делать в будущем.”
