[Ukraine Vadym Yermolaiev bombing plot Monaco] What ended up being a devastating day for the people of Monaco due to a parcel bombing that rocked a residential housing complex Révérend Père Louis Frolla, near the border of France at 9:00pm yesterday, Seriously wounded a man, with a woman sustaining critical injuries, and a teenager who injuries were less severe. The woman and teenager have been hospitalized in Nice, France and are possibly his significant others. The man who was wounded was a Ukrainian businessman by the name of Vadym Volodymyrovych Iermolaiev translated to Vadym Yermolaiev. While there have been suspicions of this being a terror attack, local law enforcement authorities are currently calling this attack an attempted murder with Monaco's Prince Albert II describing this attack as a “heinous crime” that is a “shock to the Monegasque community”.

The suspected targeted victim, Vadym Yermolaiev is a Ukrainian Oligarch with a net worth of $230 million from Dnipro and is currently under sanctions by the Ukrainian Security Services in Kiev for an alcohol related business venture in Crimea in 2023. Vadym Yermolaiev is also a notable real estate mogul in Monaco. It should be noted that he has renounced his Ukrainian citizenship in 2019. It has been reported that he is currently suffering from burn wounds from yesterdays parcel blast. While there is video footage of the perpetrator fleeing the area before the bomb detonated, local law enforcement has not released any details as to what the perpetrator looks like. Currently both French and Monaco's intelligence agencies are working together to not only build a profile of the Bomber, but they are also working with law-enforcement to establish a motive for the crime.

The internal components of the bomb consisted of buckshot and bolts. An estimated 80 security personnel and 50 firefighters are currently reported being on scene as both France and Monaco's law enforcement agencies have stated to Press that the Bomber is currently on the run and was last seen making his way towards the French municipality of Beausoleil.
