[Valencia Williams] Speaking with Valencia Williams (D) is always a delight. What we like about her is that she unapologetically stands on her principles in the world of politics. During this segment we talked about the voting process and how the voting process according to Valencia Williams may have been tainted or skewed to push one candidate to the forefront of voters. What we were able to take away from this interview is that it could be perceived that voter interference could be a factor.
We also talked about the epidemic of low voter turnout and why Houstonians and elsewhere around the country. According to Valencia Williams, there is “cheating” allowed to occur when it comes to mail-in ballots. The voting issue of “Ballot Harvesting” was touched on as Ms. Williams alluded to the fact that incumbents like Jolanda Jones (D) are guilty of utilizing ballot harvesting methods to retain her political position. With the Congressional 18th District lines now including the Congressional District 9, Valencia Williams made it a point to call out Congressman Al Green a “Race Hustler”.
She also touched on how Candidate Vince Duncan (I) fearlessly called out the Houston Chronicle, a local newspaper of playing a big role in voter manipulation by selecting specific Candidates to highlight, instead of allowing all candidates to address the public. Although she praised Vince Duncan for his actions, she expressed that he should have too another route to express his dissatisfaction. This is a segment that you don’t want to miss.
