2025 ASTROS FOUNDATION COLLEGE CLASSIC

It’s that time again and if you’re a fan of college baseball, tomorrow starts the beginning of your chance to watch the very best in what college baseball has to offer at Daikin Park, hone of the World Champion Houston Astros. Tomorrow marks the day of the 25th Astro’s Foundation College Classic, where universities duke it out on the field to show you who’s the best. The college baseball team that will be competing for this three-day series (Friday - Sunday) are the following universities:

 

  • Tennessee University

  • Texas A&M University

  • Arizona University

  • Mississippi State University

  • Oklahoma State University

  • Rice University

 

This weekend’s baseball series is sure to bring in baseball fans from all over the country so that they can cheer on their favorite teams. With Louisiana State University not only showing up and showing out, but wining the series last year, LSU fans are wondering if LSU can do it again. Right now, it’s anyone’s guess. But what’s known is the following schedule of games that are set to occur over the 3-day weekend and they are as follows:

 

Friday February 28, 2025

  • Rice University vs. Mississippi State University (11:05am)

  • Oklahoma State University vs. Tennessee University (3:05pm)

  • Arizona University vs. Texas A&M University (7:05pm)

 

Saturday February 28, 2025

  • Tennessee University vs. Rice University (11:05am)

  • Arizona University vs. Mississippi State University (3:05pm)

  • Oklahoma State University vs. Texas A&M University (7:05pm)

 

Sunday February 28, 2025

  • Tennessee University vs. Arizona University (10:05am)

  • Mississippi State University vs. Oklahoma State University (2:05pm) 

  • Texas A&M University vs. Rice University (6:05pm)

 

With this kind of line up its safe to say that Daikin Park will be on fire. If you haven’t already, make sure that you click here to get your tickets. Tickets start at only $22.00 and range up to $38.00. If you are looking to purchase a 3-day pass, those tickets prices start at $51.00 and go up to $84.00. For those of you that considered yourselves to be “ultra-fans”, you can purchase tickets that allow you to sit in the “Phillips66 Diamond Club” which is located behind home plate AND THOSE TICKETS ARE $119.00 EACH. It’s a fantastic view. Beside the fantastic view, if you wonder what you’re getting for the price of the Phillips66 Diamond Club, it includes food and non-alcoholic beverages.

 

Daikin Park, home of both the World-Famous and World Champion Astros is located 501 Crawford St., Houston, TX 77002, Downtown Houston Texas. It lies next to the METRO Light Rail and has plenty of parking options to choose from if you seek to drive. Looking forward to seeking you there.
