[2026 Astros Foundation Winter Invitational Alabama Huntsville North Greenville] North Greenville dealt a crushing blow to Alabama Huntsville defeating them on the field rendering a final score of 12-3. The cold weather in Houston seemed to have played a major factor in how Alabama Huntsville may have lost this game. However, excuses or not, North Greenville appeared to have been on fire as they scored six runs in the bottom of the first inning then another two runs in the bottom of the second innings. It would be until the third inning that Alabama Huntsville would score their first two runs of the game. But after they scored two runs, North Greenville scored another run bringing their total number of runs to nine by the end of the third inning.

Neither team scored a run in the fourth and fifth innings, in fact it should be known that Alabama Huntsville never scored again after the third inning of the game. In contrast North Greenland scored a run in the sixth and another two runs in the seventh innings.
