[2026 Astros Foundation Winter Invitational: Arkansas Tech Alabama Huntsville] The last and final game of the 2026 Astros Foundation Winter Invitational is also considered the best game in the entire weekend series. With Alabama Huntsville demonstrating excellent skill on the field and the Arkansas Tech Wonder Boys doing the same but with exceptional pitching power and precision it was understood why the Wonder Boys were able to win this game. Going head-to-head in the first inning both Alabama Huntsville and Arkansas Tech were able to score and tie but that tie would not be broken until Alabama Huntsville scored a run in the fourth inning due to both team’s unwillingness to allow the other team to score a run.

In the fifth innings neither team scored but both demonstrated great defense until the bottom of the sixth when Arkansas Tech scored three runs breaking Alabama Huntsville lead over them. At the top of the seventh Alabama scored but fell short to tie the score with the Wonder Boys. Neither team was able to secure a run during the eighth inning. But in a spectacular performance by both teams in the ninth inning, both teams were able to secure three runs apiece. Despite that, it would be the Arkansas Tech Wonder Boys that would defeat Alabama Huntsville 7-6.
