In what seemed to be a surge in the fifth inning, it was North Greenville that went into overdrive and scored a heaping eight runs to Central Missouri’s one. Both teams scored in the sixth inning, despite a drop in North Greenville ability to score a high number of runs resulting in them only being able to score one run to Central Missouri two. Neither team scored a run in the seventh inning, but North Greenville ended placed the final nails in the coffin in the eight-inning scoring an additional six runs effectively shutting out Central Missouri leaving them with no reason to play in the ninth inning of the game.
