[2026 Bruce Bolt College Classic Texas Coastal Carolina] The final game of the first day of the 2026 Bruce Bolt College Classic featured Coastal Carolina going head-to-head against the University of Texas. This was the most highly attended game of the day and thus the most electrically charged one as well. With neither team being able to secure a run in the first and second inning, both teams played fiercely in the field keeping each other at bay. The deadlock in terms of scoring would be broken in the bottom of the third inning in which the University of Texas would score two consecutive runs.
Although Coastal Carolina played well, they severely struggled last night to score hardly any runs through the entirety of the game, the trend of them failing to score a run continued all the way until the seventh inning. But by then, the University of Texas was able to score two additional runs in the bottom of the fourth and sixth innings. The University of Texas relentlessly continued their onslaught of aggressively clobbering Coastal Carolina every chance they got, scoring a whopping four runs in the eighth inning to bring the final score between the two teams to Coastal Carolina (1) and the University of Texas (8).

It should be noted that the game was stopped before the bottom of the ninth inning as it appeared that Coastal Carolina either decided to go belly up or simply because the University of Texas decided to have mercy on Coastal Carolina. Either way both teams played well as this match was extremely entertaining to watch. While everything is big in Texas, the question is can the University of Texas dominate Baylor university tonight? Like the fans of all the teams of the 2026 Bruce Bolt College Classic, we will be watching.
