[Abu Shabab Benjamin Netanyahu Hamas] Taking a page out of the American counterterrorism and destabilization playbook, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu against incineration opposition has decided to provide arms support to a local southern Gazan gang called: “Abu Shabab” in their losing war against Hamas. The Gazan gang was started last years in in the Palestine city of Rafaa and is spearheaded by leader Yasser Abu Shabab. Abu Shabab has been operating close to the Kerem Shalom border crossing which is currently under Israeli control. Abu Shabab has been both accused and linked to smuggling weapons to ISIS Jihadist Fighters in Egypt in the past. It seems as if the cliche “the enemy of my enemy is my friend” applies here. The Abu Shabab gang consists of roughly 300 members and has been targeted for assassination by Hamas’s Al-Qassam Brigade.

Israeli intelligence service Shin Bet has strongly advised Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu against arming the Abu Shabab gang. Their reason for this is because it was Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu who forked over billions in funding to Hamas for decades under his published idea of Hamas being an asset to Israel. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s notion of Hamas has been proven to be incorrect. On the other hand, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is currently making the claim that Abu Shabab will save the lives of IDF soldiers.

Upon hearing of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s actions, Israeli democratic leader Yair Golan made the following statement: “Netanyahu is dangerous to Israel’s security. Netanyahu is selling Israel's security for another day in office”. There appears to be some truth in the words of Yair Golan given the fact that by Israel embarking on the supplying of weapons to Gazan gangs to aid them in their fight against Hamas, indicates that they are indeed not only losing their war against Hamas, but Israel also needs help to defeat Hamas because they simply can’t do it on their own.

Another question that should be asked is what does Abu Shabab get from helping the IDF who has been killing their own people to the tune of over 50,000? It's unknown currently. The act of arming Abu Shabab was made without the green light from the Israeli Security Cabinet, and this was more than likely done so because Prime Minister Netanyahu knew that his idea would have been turned down by his own security cabinet.  In recent days, Abu Shabab has claimed to be helping with the protection of humanitarian aid sites which are run by the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF). How long will this unlikely partnership last between Israel and Abu Shabab before it morphs into something else totally unsuspected? No one truly knows as there are just too many variables and wildcards in play to predict what would/would happen in the future.
