[Actress Tiffany Toney film MEAT] When it comes to up-and-coming new female Actresses there's definitely one name that comes to mind and that’s the one and only Tiffany Toney. We at VEDA World News have had the opportunity not only meet with Tiffany Toney, but we’ve had the opportunity to work with Tiffany Toney on as we provided unit/set photography for the film entitled “COMPLEXX The Two Ex’s” which was Written and Directed by Joseph Elmore of Elmore Vision Entertainment. Not only is Tiffany Toney the hottest new talented Actress on the scene, but she will also be hitting the big screen again this time in a film entitled “MEAT” directed by Larae Wilson.
The Hawaiian native also starred in the film entitled “BORA”, which was the first film she only wrote, directed and starred in. according to the Press Release “MEAT” is:
“a psychological thriller from writer-director LaRae Wilson, has officially wrapped production and is set to debut on streaming platforms in 2026 through Homestead Entertainment. Starring breakout Actress Tiffany Toney, alongside Rhonda Bankston, Vincent M. Ward, best known for his role on The Walking Dead and House of Vicious, with featured Actress Tia Parchmen from Netflix’s Rhythm and Flow. Ward also serves as a producer on the film, bringing his experience and creative perspective to the project.

MEAT marks Wilson’s third feature film, continuing her ascent as a filmmaker who thrives in the dark, gripping terrain of thriller-driven storytelling. Set in Southern California, the film follows Lauren, a 26-year-old homeless woman in Los Angeles who flees an abusive relationship while eight months pregnant. Believing she’s finally reached a turning point, Lauren finds refuge in a halfway house, only to discover that the people controlling it are harboring sinister motives. As young women begin to vanish, Lauren realizes that her fight for survival, and for her unborn child, has only just begun.
Tiffany Toney, who leads the film, shared why she connected so deeply with the role and Wilson’s approach: “People often cast me as the ‘mistress’ or ‘bad girl,’ Nobody knew it, but I was homeless in real life when we shot this and as a survivor of abuse, it hit different. I felt Lauren in my bones.

Rhonda Bankston, who brings depth and authenticity to the project, reflected on the on-set connection: “Working on this film was a joy. I connected instantly with the cast, and that real trust, and support shows up on screen.”
Opposite Bankston and Vincent M. Ward, Tiffany Toney holds her own, delivering a vulnerable and authentically human performance that grounds the film.
Produced by Vincent M. Ward and Josie Hines, MEAT also features Everette Aponte, Earl White, and Wesley Pate Jr. as executive producers, bringing additional industry support to the film’s creative vision.
LaRae Wilson continues to build a reputation as a fearless female filmmaker blazing her own path behind the camera. Her presence in the thriller genre stands as a powerful testimony to what women in film can accomplish when given the platform to lead with vision and courage. With MEAT, Wilson not only demonstrates her evolving mastery of tension and character but also contributes to the growing movement of women shaping authentic new narratives in cinema. MEAT represents women, children, and the importance of protecting those who cannot protect themselves. It gives them a voice.
“LaRae creates a safe space for us to go deep and be seen, not only as characters but as real human beings.” — Vincent M. Ward””
MEAT appears to be a film that many people, not only in America but around the world, can relate to.
