Good morning Houston! Today marks the second day of the Cactus Jack HBCU classic which features some of the best HBCU baseball teams from around the country. The first matchup of the day started off between Alabama A&M vs. This game started off as a slow build up with Alabama A&M scoring one run at the top of the third innings. In kind, Jackson State university was able to rebound at the bottom of the fourth inning by scoring 2 runs. This game had its fair share of foul balls, pop-ups, and straight catches between shortstop and the outfield.
Although this was nothing short of another great game, Alabama A&M lost to Jackson State University with the final score being Alabama A&M 6 to Jackson State University 6. Here are the box scores from the first of today's games at the Cactus Jack HBCU classic.
