It's time to forget what you think you know about the People's Republic of China (PRC). When it comes to China's technological advancements, educational system, manufacturing, infrastructure, and transportation; the United States is nowhere close to being able to compete. China, also known as the manufacturing hub of the world; has made it harder and harder for any U.S. sanctions to have any effect on its dominance. From raising over 800 million people out of poverty, to being the first to introduce 5G and to now getting close to releasing 6G for the people in its region, to making some of the best quality and affordable EV’s (Electric Vehicles) currently on the planet beating out Tesla by a long shot, there's no question that China is winning.
Sure China has its fair share of socio-political problems. But so does every other country in the world. However, despite that, China has remained resilient and demonstrated to the world that it has the ability to thrive. While homelessness and income disparities in America are getting worse and the gap between the rich and the poor in America is significantly widening, the opposite is true for the People's Republic of China. It was reported that when China was seeking to establish a collaborative relationship with America when it came to developing 5G technology, America rejected China.
In doing so, it can be said that America “shot itself in the foot”. Now America is not only struggling to keep up, but is actively threatening other countries such as India and the United Kingdom with being sanctions of they utilizing Chinese wireless technology in their countries. It should be noted that the U.S. sanctions imposed on the Chinese semiconductor manufacturers (which were doomed to fail from the beginning) have currently failed as they found a way to produce the semiconductor chips needed to keep their telecommunications industry highly competitive in market. Another thing that people around the world should take note of is China's amazing ability to make vast improvements when it comes to their infrastructure. From building hospitals in record time to constructing a ultra high speed rail system that can reach speeds up to 300 mph without its passengers feeling any turbulence speaks for itself.
When it comes to China's military apparatus, outside of having the largest Naval operation in the world - and that means exceeding that of the United States; they also have an advantage over the United States when it comes to missile technology. Long gone are the days of conventional missile deployments when a country like China (and Russia) have hypersonic missiles that can't be stopped by the current missile defense systems many NATO countries still deploy. It's time for America and the rest of the NATO countries to keep their hubris in check. The world has changed, and China has managed to keep up with that change and harness it for their own national interest; and you'll be hard pressed to find anyone that can argue against that.
