[Al Green Black History Month Legislative Breakfast Meeting] Today Congressman Al Green (D) of the Texas Congressional 9th District held the Black History Month Legislative Breakfast Meeting at the Wyndham hotel near the NRG Energy Stadium. In a packed ballroom, both speakers and attendees took the time out to address many of the issues that have been plaguing the Black American community and how the actions of the Trump Administration have adversely affected Black Americans and immigrants around the country. Congressman Al Green took to the stage to address attendees as well.
We at Veda World News in conjunction with Amanda Sapp of ASAPP Media group, were able to capture some of the thoughts and positions of some of the event's attendees. While this was a gathering that was designed to bring residents from all over Houston together, it was also an event that was created to celebrate all of the achievements Black Americans made in America; as well as an opportunity to remember all of the social struggles that Black Americans have had to and still are enduring since the period of their enslavement in America.
We urge you to watch what some of the attendees had to say about and during today's event spearheaded by Congressman Al Green of the Texas Congressional 9th District.
