[Demitry Medvedev Russia Israel Iran] It’s been three days since American President Donald Trump issued his first 50, then 12, then 10, and now 5-day ultimatum for Russia to settle the war between it and neighboring country Ukraine. In what started off as a Ukrainian provocation towards Russia, then to Russia responding in kind by conducting a special military operation in Ukraine, which the turned into a full fledge draw out hot war between the two countries. While American Senator Linsey Graham demanded that Russia “get to the peace table” and that Russia and the countries that patronize it would be “sadly mistaken”. Former Russian President now Deputy Chairman of the Russian security council Demitry Medvedev responded to Senator Lindsey Graham by stating: “It’s not for you or Trump to dictate Russian-Ukraine negotiation terms”.

Deputy Chairman Demitry Medvedev also stated that “Russia isn’t Israel or even Iran” hinting at the fact that Russia is neither a vassal state of the U.S. nor will it exercise the same restraint that Iran has done thus far. While the demands of Senator Lindsey Graham fell largely on the deaf ears of virtually all Russian diplomats, President Trump intervened by saying he was going to place up to 100% sanctions on Russia if they failed to reach a settlement with Ukraine. Spokesperson for the Kremlin Dmitry Peskov stated that Russia is “committed to the peace process to resolve the conflict around Ukraine and to ensure our interest in the course of this settlement”.

OUR POSITION AT VEDA WORLD NEWS

As President Trump delivers a seemingly harsh 50/12/10/5 day ultimatum to Russia, the question to be asked is “then what?” The answer is absolutely nothing because it’s a known fact that President Trump will never bomb Russia. The issuance of any more sanctions on Russia does nothing as Russia has perpetually proven itself to be “immune” to American sanctions.

Not only is Russia, Brazil, China, and India’s biggest LNG, oil and gas supplier; Russia is one of the cheapest LNG, oil and gas suppliers in the world. Adding insult to injury, America is also one of Russia’s biggest buyers of uranium, and Brazilian orange juice and coffee, just about everything China makes, and the biggest buyer of India’s medical supplies and contracted IT workers. It seems that any sanctions the Trump Administration could conjure up to place on Russia should be used for toilet paper at best.

It appears that President Trump is ignoring the fact that the world is now a multi-polar world that no longer relies on the judgements and calculations of any one nation. We forecast that nothing will come from President Trump’s 50/12/10/5 day ultimatum towards Russia and that instead of taking direct military action against Russia, the Trump Administration will most likely use Ukraine as a proxy to retaliate towards Russia.

When it comes to India, Brazil, and China who are Russia’s biggest buyer of it’s cheap LNG, oil, and gas; they will not for one moment jeopardize their relationship with Russia for the sake of superficial American acknowledgment. Instead, the opposite is true. What we mean by this is that India, Brazil and China will more than likely ramp up their purchasing of Russia LNG, oil, and gas to counter any possible stoppages by American sanctions or acts of sabotage before its too late. In short, there is no stopping production, shipment, and use of cheap Russian LNG, oil, and gas that powers everything from transportation, to manufacturing, to data centers, and advanced AI networks.
