[France recognize Palestinian statehood] Considering the current genocide on Palestinians, France has declared it will recognize Palestine as a state starting in September. French President Emmanuel Macron stated to the Press that the formal announcement to recognize Palestinian statehood will take place at the United Nations assembly in New York. While President Mahmound Abbas of the Palestinian Authority expressed joy over France’s position to recognize Palestinian statehood, Israeli Prime Minister condemned the actions of France by using Hamas’s attack as an excuse to continue the Israel’s genocide on the Palestinian people.

To date roughly 140 of the 193 members of the United Nations recognize Palestinian statehood. But of the 140 that do, none of them have taken any military actions against Israel due to their actions in Gaza which has led to the killing of at least 60,000 people with as many as three times that of people seriously wounded and/or injured. France’s public notice to recognize Palestine comes at a time when the Israeli Knesset has passed a vote that would allow Israelis to not only annex more Palestinian land, but arrest and detain more Palestinians at greater lengths with no access to legal representation.

While France’s move to recognize Palestinian statehood may spark the interest of other nations to do the same, many geopolitical analysts are skeptical that it will. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that:

“Such a move rewards terror and risks creating another Iranian proxy, just as Gaza became. A Palestinian state in these conditions would be a launch pad to annihilate Israel, not to live in peace beside it.”

OUR POSITION AT VEDA WORLD NEWS

While it appears that France recognizing Palestine as a state is a good thing, one can't help but wonder how France's decision will not only affect the people of Palestine, but how it will influence the actions of Israel once the formal announcement is made. Our prediction is that even with France recognizing Palestine as a state, France, like all 140 countries in the United Nations, will militarily do nothing to stop Israel from barbarically killing Palestinians. It is our position that if France breaks the status quo when it comes to the United Nations and NATO’s position on Palestine, it will find itself suffering from American led sanctions which will adversely affect its economy. This is something that France, like most countries in today's harsh economic climate simply cannot afford.

Israel’s claim of Palestine possibly becoming a terror state if France recognizes its statehood is now considered to be bullshit by even the people who are deaf and blind in the world making Israel's claim as nothing more than empty rhetoric that should be ignored. This is due to the undue devastation, senseless destruction, and the outright slaughtering of the civilian population of Palestinians. With France having both a large Israeli and Palestinian population within its own borders combined that often stir up protest, many political pundits believe that this is the sole contributing factor as to why France is recognizing Palestinian statehood at this time.
