[Greg Abbot congressional remapping] Yesterday at the M.C. Daniel  Community Outreach Center located in Houston Texas, Texas Representative Jolanda Jones (D) of District 147, held what she called an “Emergency Redistricting Town Hall Meeting”. Residents of the community came together to not only get the chance to understand Texas Governor Greg Abbot’s (R) plan to what many are calling an effort to “racially gerrymander” the Congressional Map which some community members believe will disproportionately and negatively impact poor Black Americans that live in specific districts.

Political Candidate Amanda Edwards (D) was at no loss when it came to articulating how she perceived the actions of Governor Greg Abbot. Take a listen to hear what was said.
