[Houston Dynamo Austin] Saturday’s game between the Houston Dynamo and Texas rival Austin was a game that depending on your team loyalty left fans divided. Despite that, what was not divided was the final score between the two teams which resulted in a draw of 2-2. Goals were scored by Llie Sánchez and Guilherme Biro (Austin) and Jack McGlynn (Houston Dynamo). While both teams played a good game, when you take a look at the match statistics, it's easy to see that the Houston Dynamo defeated Austin. Going by the numbers, the Houston Dynamo took a total of 18 shots with 6 shots landing on target. This is an indication that the Dynamo’s seemed to have “upped” their attack game on the pitch.

In contrast, Austin took a total of 12 shots with 4 of those shots landing on target. Trailing behind the Dynamo when it came to ball possession, Austin possessed the ball 47% of the time while the Dynamo possessed the ball at a slightly higher rate of 53% of the time. The Dynamo also had 5 interceptions while Austin fell behind with 4 interceptions. When it came to keeper saves Austin came out on top with 4, to the Dynamo’s 2.
