[Houston Dynamo Houston Dash Shell Energy Stadium] The Houston Dynamo and Houston Dash released a press statement highlighting the fact that for the upcoming soccer season, they have made several upgrades to Shell Energy Stadium that would aid fans in staying cool during the hotter months of the year. The Shell Energy Stadium is an open-air stadium that will not only serve as the home of the Houston Dynamo and Houston Dash, but the Shell Energy Stadium will be also utilized as the stadium of choice for outdoor events and concerts. Houston Dynamo and Houston Dash majority owner Ted Segal and former football player and Minority investor Tim Howard spoke to Press and provided a walkthrough of the stadium showing the new fan focused upgrades.
