[Houston Dynamo Austin 3-0] With the Houston Dynamo opening a certified can of whoop ass on Austin, Dynamo fans were left with a boost in pride and excitement as they left shell energy stadium. scoring for the Houston Dynamo would be Midfielder Mateuza Bogusz who scored two goals at the 12th and 29th minute of the match. He was assisted by Ezequiel Ponce and Guilherme. Scoring the third and final goal of the match was Striker Dynamo Guilherme at the 32nd minute of the match. He was assisted by Agustin Bouzat. Looking at the key stats, the Houston Dynamo played aggressively by taking a total of 11 shots with four of those shots landing on target. Austin in contrast took a total of eight shots and tied with the Houston Dynamo, also landing four of their shots on target.

 

When it came to ball possession it would be the Houston Dynamo that led in this statistical category possessing the ball 52%, just over half of the match as they executed a total of 393 passes with a pass accuracy rate of 91%. Austin possessed the ball 48% of the time and executed 464 passes with a pass accuracy rate of 92%, just one percentage point higher than the Dynamo despite losing the match. In terms of aggression on the pitch, the heat on the pitch kept up with the outside temperature which was hot as both teams played aggressively leading to fouls being committed.
