[Houston Dynamo Agustín Bouzat Futbolito In The City] Besides being on the pitch, with essentially a new team for the 2026 season, the other thing that the Houston Dynamo is known for is the huge amount of time the football club spends giving back and fostering positive community relations with their fans in the community. Yesterday, the Houston Dynamo sponsored a community event with a camp for the youth at Jane Long Academy, which is located at 6501 Bellaire Boulevard, Houston, TX 77074. Houston Dynamo Midfielder Agustín Bouzat along with Dynamo support staff provided technical pointers that would greatly improve the soccer playing skills and abilities of the children that attended the event. Both Dynamo support staff and Agustín Bouzat conducted drills and aided children in terms of proper form during the event as well.
After the practice, the children were not only given take away items also known as “swag bags”, but the children also received autographs from Agustín Bouzat. The children that attended also were granted the opportunity to ask questions and probe the mind of Agustín Bouzat to gain a better insight into not only him as a professional soccer player, but as a person. As this community engagement event was both fun and successful, fans of the Houston Dynamo also have more to look forward to in terms of community outreach and engagement this Thursday as the team will be hosting another chance for children within the community to come out and sharpen their skills on the pitch this time with Dynamo Defender Antônio Carlos at the Kirkwood South Park Youth Camp located at 10675 South Sagetrail Drive, Houston, TX 77089. This event is scheduled to take place at 6pm.
All of these community engagement events are hosted by the Dynamo and Dash Charities under the moniker Futbolito in the City which provides 90 minutes of free soccer programming to youth in the greater Houston area in the spring and fall season. As a team, the next Dynamo match will be at the Shell Energy Stadium against Portland FC this Saturday March 14th with kick-off starting at 7:30pm. The win probability for this matchup currently stands in the favor of the Houston Dynamo with a 46% chance of winning in contrast to Portland’s 26% chance of winning with a 28% chance of draw occurring between the two teams.
