[Houston rapper D4vd body found] A body was discovered in the trunk of a Tesla registered to Houston Rapper David Anthony Burke, who is known professionally as “D4vd”, has sparked widespread speculation and an active murder investigation spanning between California and Texas. Law enforcement has identified the victim as 15-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez, a California teen who had been reported missing for over a year. The exact cause of her death remains undetermined, pending further autopsy and toxicology results.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the Tesla that was towed from a Hollywood Hills neighborhood on September 5 after several parking violations and complaints about an odor. When the tow-yard opened the trunk, they found human remains in an advanced state of decomposition. Investigators later confirmed the vehicle was registered to D4vd, a rising up and coming Rapper whose hits such as “Romantic Homicide” have garnered hundreds of millions of streams. Police executed search warrants at multiple properties linked to D4vd, including a Hollywood Hills residence and a home in Cypress, Texas. Several items were reportedly seized from the California property for forensic analysis.

Law enforcement hasn’t named any suspects or persons of interest, and D4vd has not been arrested or charged with any crime. At best law enforcement has described the matter as a “Death Investigation.” D4vd Manager, Josh Marshall, released a statement denying any wrongdoing or prior knowledge, calling many of the circulating claims as “inaccurate and irresponsible”.

Josh Marshall also stated:

“We are cooperating fully with authorities and ask that the public refrain from speculation until all facts are known”

He emphasized that D4vd works closely with multiple partners and teams, most of whom are based remotely.

Currently, Investigators are continuing their efforts to examine how the teenager’s remains came to be in D4vd’s vehicle. Even if D4vd was unaware of the body, the case could carry legal ramifications such as recklessness or negligence. Meanwhile, fans and media alike have called for patience and responsibility. Until authorities release definitive findings, one fact remains clear: a young girl’s life was cut short under disturbing and mysterious circumstances, and the search for truth and justice will continue.
