[Houston Texas Republican Candidates] Last night at the Wyndham Hotel NRG, the Menudo Club, TXCRC, and the Cypress Republicans sponsored a collaborative event entitled the “Republican Candidates Meet & Greet”. In a joint effort, the Texas republicans painted the walls of the hotel red with fiery speeches, presentations, and words of assurance that resonated not only between each other but with people within the audience. Among those in attendance were (this list may not be exhaustive):

Many Texas Republicans from the local, district, county, and state level stood in solidarity in an event that has appeared to galvanize members of the Texas Republican Party. Through the course of last night's Republican gathering, each Republican Candidate was able to address their peers and audience members and inform those in attendance as to not only why they are qualified to run for their respective seats and positions, but why the people of Texas should vote for them.
Some of the social issues that were brought up during last night's Harris County Republican Meet & Greet were education, crime and public safety, economics, healthcare, infrastructure, and geopolitical issues. As usual, at any political event as of late, American President Trump was mentioned several times throughout the night, but instead of engaging in attacking President Trump and his administration, Texas Republicans not only gave praise to the Trump Administration for it’s position on illegal immigration and how it’s dealing with many of the social issues that are plaguing Americans every day.
WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW
Not only does each of the Texas Republicans have a backstory that’s unique to them, but there are many Texas Republicans that have highly technical education and skills that will aid them well if they were to win their respective races. From engineers to oil and gas, educators, to candidates who have advanced degrees and experience in technology, the Texas Republican Party has candidates that are stronger and seem as if they may be a better fit for the governance of Texas than the Democratic Party.
Where the Texas Democratic Party plays on race-based politics, victimhood, and blaming; the Texas Republican Party appears to be based on providing solutions and taking a tough but much needed stance on governance.
