[Houthis counterstrike Israel] In the wake of the Israel killing several top Ansarullah (Houthis) commanders and civilians 2 weeks ago, it has not stopped Ansarullah from continuing to engage in counter attacks toward Israel as Ansarullah demands that Israel stop its war of genocide against the people of Palestine and specifically Gaza. Yesterday, Ansarullah continued to launch missile strikes on Israeli infrastructure, this time launching a drone strike that struck Israel's Ramon Airport which is located near the southern city of Eilat bordering Jordan and Egypt. This latest counterstrike by Ansarullah has left two people injured and caused interruptions in service at the airport. Ansarullah has vowed to continue executing counterstrike as a way of protesting Israel genocide on the Palestinian people.
According to Ansarullah military spokesman Yahya Saree:
“The Yemeni armed forces assure all air navigation companies that the airports inside occupied Palestine are unsafe and will be continuously targeted”.
According to Israeli officials:
“Following the completion of all safety and security checks, compliance with international civilian aviation standards, and receipt of final approval from the air force – Ramon Airport has now been reopened for full operations, for both departures and arrivals”.
But with Ramon airport now reopened and fully operational and all flights resuming; The question is for how long, as it’s predicted that Ansarullah will execute another counterstrike against Israel in support of Palestine and against Israel’s genocidal war on Palestine.
