HTX WINTER INVITATIONAL: CENTRAL MISSOURI VS ASHLAND (15-5)
Written by Michael Thervil
Central Missouri vs Ashland is the third and final game of today. As always both teams did a fantastic job on the diamond. Although there were a couple of close calls when it came to determining who was “safe” and who was not, both teams and the fans were able to get past that. The game was played at a moderate pace that almost never seemed to stall due to time outs and unforeseen technicalities. Bases were stolen and the bat seemed to crack at just the right number of times to keep the fans of both teams happy. Even more impressive were the pitchers. We took special note of the line-up of pitchers and back-catchers from the Central Missouri Mules as they were nothing short of “incredibly coordinated and smooth”. Here are the top stats of the highlighted players from this game.
