[James Matlock Texas Railroad Commission] James Matlock (R) former U.S. Marine, oil and gas Expert, family man, and now campaigning for the seat of the Commissioner for the Texas railroad commission. When it comes to the regulation of oil, gas, coal, and their associated pipelines, James Matlock has vowed to not only keep Texas competitive but is seeking to stop the sale of Texas natural resources and land to foreign entities such as China. Having 18 years of experience in the oil and gas sector on an international basis, there are very few who have keen insight and instincts when it comes to seeking out and rectifying issues that pertain to waste, fraud, and abuse that according to him is running rampant throughout the State of Texas. James Matlock also revealed that the Texas Railroad Commission doesn’t regulate any of the trains that run on the railroads within Texas.
"Don't tell me there's an energy crisis when I am still seeing waste." - James Matlock

During our interview with James Matlock, he talked about how the people of Houston suffered unnecessarily during the 2021 winter storm that claimed lives and destroyed the property of Houstonians. Outside of waste, fraud, and abuse, James Matlock also touched on how politics have been polarized so much that it's tearing people and families apart. On the subject of oil and gas, James Matlock talked about the differences in crude oil and how oil is "mixed" within the American market, besides that we discussed how much America needs a lot of cheap energy to keep the country running. From America essentially “selling itself out” to what America can do to bring manufacturing back, to corruption within the State of Texas amongst contract holders, to discoveries made to clean contaminates from water processing and treatment plants, to PFAS and the socio-health issue of “forever chemicals”, lithium and other minerals, James Matlock was able to deliver much need answers to the questions every day American are asking on a daily bases.
