[Lindsey Graham dead Aorta] With the death of 71-year-old Republican War Hawk Senator Lindsey Graham who died from a tear in his Aorta over the weekend, the question that many political analysts are asking is who is going to be President Trump most trusted ally in the American Senate? Even more than that, they are also asking who will replace the huge amount of influence Senator Lindsey Graham had over the decisions made by the Trump Administration? From advocating for the increase of sanctions on Russia to upgrading the Trump Administration's “Maximum Pressure” campaign on Iran, Senator Lindsey Graham wielded the most influence on how the Trump Administration implemented it’s Foreign Policy.
While it’s true Senator Lindsey Graham ran against President Trump back in 2016, it would turn out that Senator Lindsey Graham would become one President Trump's biggest supporter in the end. On the topic of the Ukraine-Russia war which began as a special military operation in February of 2022, Senator Lindsey Graham played a crucial part in the advancement of American interventionism in the matter despite the international push back he received. Critics of the joint American-Israeli war of choice and aggression on Hamas which ended up turning into a genocide killing close to 80,000 Palestinians and counting from the perspective of the international community, Senator Lindsey Graham pushed for Israel to continue it’s execution of aerial strikes and bombardments even though it has been predicted that Israel will not defeat Hamas nor extinguish any other organization that is affiliated with the Axis of Resistance.
One of the last political items Senator Lindsey Graham was working on was a deal between Israel and Saudi Arabia in an effort to normalize diplomatic relations between the two entities. The reason why he was working to broker this deal was because he believed that if the two entities could normalize diplomatic relations between each other it would somehow reshape the region. Political detractors within the international community largely disagreed with his strategy since from their perspective, the situation in West Asia is far too complex and largely misunderstood by Senator Lindsey Graham.
With the death of Senator Lindsey Graham, there is now a push from within the republican party to elect a suitable replacement. It has been reported that South Carolina house of representatives Ralph Norman, Russell Fry, and Nancy Mace could be possible replacements for Senator Lindsey Graham along with South Carolina’s Lt. Gov. Pamela Evette.
