Saturday's match-up against the Seattle Sounders appeared to end in somber. For many fans of the Dynamo, it seems to have gotten to the point that attending a Dynamo game is bittersweet at best. What we mean by this is that Dynamo fans are coming to the game to experience the electric atmosphere that comes with attending a Dynamo game but are grossly expecting the Dynamo to ultimately lose whoever they play. Again, there's a difference between having a great time and winning. But fortunately for the Houston Dynamo, win, lose, or draw, Houston still supports the Dynamo as this is their 20th season being a part of the MLS.
While the Dynamo did play well against the Seattle Sounders, as always, the stats will always put everything into the correct perspective. As both teams demonstrated a high level of competitiveness, the Seattle Sounders took 14 shots, but the Houston Dynamo led by taking 15 shots as both teams tied when it came to shots on target. Typically, the Houston Dynamo dominated when it came to ball possession, but they fell behind the Seattle Sounders by 20%.
