[NATASHA WILSON COHAP TEXAS SOUTHERN UNIVERSITY BACK TO SCHOOL] It's that time of year again when school is about to start back in session. Celebrating that fact is Philanthropist and Community Activist Natasha Wilson who heads the Houston's chapter of national organization Operation Turkey has formed a partnership with COHAP (Chance of Hope and Prosperity) outreach corporation. Operation Turkey feeds tens of thousands of families during the Thanksgiving and Christmas seasons.
But for now, before the winter holiday season descends upon us, Natasha Wilson will be kicking things off with her annual back to school event which will be held at Texas Southern University this Saturday at the Health and Physical Education building located at 3000 Wheeler Ave. Houston, Texas, 77004. This year's back to school event will not only allow students to pick up free book bags and school supplies; but this event will also allow students to get free haircuts, and be entertained by various Music Artists while engaging in arts and crafts, face painting, and so much more. Doors will open at 12 noon.
Natasha Wilson has also utilized her power of influence to bring national brands such as Coca-Cola, 7-Eleven, the YMCA, Frito Lay, and Chic-Fil-A. Other regional organizations such as HEB and sports teams like the Houston Dash and the Houston Dynamo will also make appearances at this year's back to school event as well. Of course this event would be complete if political figures like Edward Pollard of Houston’s District J and local law enforcement agencies such as the Harris County Constable will also make their appearances during the event.
It should also be known that academic scholarships will be given away and a job fair with employer’s ready to hire will also take place at this Saturday's event. This is a back to school event that you simply don’t want to miss and we hope to see you there. Again, Natasha Wilson's back to school event will take place at Texas southern university in the health and physical education building located at 3000 Wheeler Ave, Houston Texas, 77004.
