[Ukraine Russia North Korea] The war between Ukraine and Russia continuing to escalate, Russia has again under military partnership with North Korea has deployed a North Korean missile unit which consists of six missile launchers and 129 missiles. At least 90 North Korean soldiers will be deployed to the Russian Voronezh region which is located in western Russia. This comes on the heels of North Korea previously supplying Russia with KN-24 and 4000KN-23 ballistic missiles. In the wake of this an estimated 17 people were killed last night as Russia executed various strike packages consisting of four cruise missiles, 115 drones, and 24 ballistic missiles.
Since North Korea has entered the war against Ukraine in solidarity with Russia, they have been said to have delivered roughly150 KN-23 and KN-24 missiles to Russia. There are two reasons cited for North Korea's strategic involvement in the Ukraine-Russia war with the first being that North Korea is using this war to train it's troops in modern warfighting methods. The second reason is that North Korea will also gain the ability to test its missile capabilities in real time combat to continue the further development of its missile defense systems. For Russia, this gives them an opportunity to maintain their current stockpile of missiles while maintaining their ability to rely on advanced missile systems to combat Ukraine use of the American Patriot missile defense system.
With Russia keeping the pressure up on Ukraine and thus controlling the momentum of the war in conjunction with North Korea deploying an estimated 14,000 troops to the border of Ukraine, war analysts suspect that it will only be a matter of time before Ukraine folds to the demands of Russia.
