ORLANDO PRIDE DEFEATS HOUSTON DASH 2-1 | HEAD COACH JAMIE FRIAS

[ORLANDO DEFEATS HOUSTON DASH] With the Houston Dash playing an early match today many fans showed up early to see how the Houston Dash is going to finish off the rest of the season against the Orlando Pride. The top of the first half according to announcers appeared to display somewhat “clumsy” but workable plays. While the Houston Dash was playing a good game on the pitch, it would be at the 16’ minute that Orlando Pride Midfielder Luana (#8) would score the first goal of the match against Houston Dash Goalkeeper Jane Campbell. It appeared that the Houston Dash saw this goal as nothing more than a minor setback as they maintained their composure and strength on the pitch.

At the 30’ minute Orlando Pride Rookie Midfielder Solai Washington drove hard into the box and secured a goal as this would be her first goal as a professional player. With the Orlando Pride scoring the second goal of the match, the Houston Dash still appeared to be focused on the pitch. The only question that a Dash fan had was “can the Houston Dash catch up?” The answer to that question is “possibly” and this was due to Dash Midfielder Danielle Colaprio (#24) scoring a goal in the top of the second half at the 55’ minute mark cutting the Houston Dash 's deficit by half.
