HOUSTON PROTEST: PALESTINIAN YOUTH MOVEMENT A DAY OF RAGE

[Palestinian Youth Movement A Day of Rage] Yesterday, an anti-Israel pro Palestine protest entitled “A Day of Rage” was held in Houston, Texas at 12 noon at the Egyptian Consulate located at 5718 Westheimer Rd. According to the Palestinian Youth Movement who are the organizers of the protest, both the Egyptian and Jordanian governments have arrested and detained hundreds of people for showing solidarity with Palestine. This protest is one of the hundreds of anti-Israel/pro-Palestine protests that are continuously happening around the country and another one of the thousands that are happening around the globe.
This latest anti-Israel/pro-Palestine protest was a peaceful one in which demonstrators gathered in solidarity against Israel’s war of genocide against the Palestine people from all around Houston. To date Israel has killed well over 60,000 Palestinians and has injured and estimated another 160,000 Palestinians. While the international community has called on Israel to stop its blockade of food and other humanitarian aid into Palestine which has led to severe famine, acute starvation and death within Palestine, specifically within the Gaza strip. All other Arab and Muslim nations for the exception of Ansarullah (Houthis) and Iran have failed to militarily confront Israel and America to put an end to their actions.
During the protest, banners that said, “Fuck Israel” and the waving of Palestinian flags could be seen as many Houston drivers as possible that passed by honked their car horns in support of both the protestors and to show their support for Palestine and the possibility of Palestinian statehood being recognized on an international scale.

While Palestinians face starvation and death by the hands of both Israel and America, an anti-Israel sentiment is picking up tremendous steam not only in America but around the world. This is because at this point the international community can see that Israel has indeed become the new Nazi’s through empirical evidence. It should be understood that while protesting Israel’s campaign of genocide against the Palestinians seems to be a great idea, there are more effective ways to bring about change.
One such solution is to stop the flow of commerce in America. What we mean by this is that if people in America really want a shot at stopping America from supporting Israel, then the people of America need to stop going to work, stop all spending, stop buying cars, and generally stop all commercial activities. Sure, people will get evicted, but banks and landlords will also be forced into bankruptcy. Another potential solution would be for Americans and the international community to assemble its own mercenary force that could directly engage Israel on the battlefield.
While it is true that American Military Contractors are already on the ground in Israel, they largely serve as an augmenting force that fights on the behalf of Israel and not on the behalf of the Palestinians. The question that we are asking is: “Despite the majority of Americans weaning their support for Israel, how many Americans will actively embark on either one of the solutions that are featured here in this article?”
