[President Trump Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy] Directly after the private talks with Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelenskyy, American President Donald Trump addressed the press answering what some are calling “soft ball” questions regarding the meeting between the two leaders. Currently, it's unknown if Press agents were briefed on what they could and couldn’t ask; but it can easily be seen throughout the duration of the Press conference that there were not any specific details provided about what was truly discussed behind closed doors between President Trump and Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

Many are wondering if a peace deal is being brokered by the Americans, why wasn’t President Putin or at lease Russian foreign minister Sergey Lavrov invited to Mar-A-Lago to meet with both President Trump and Volodymyr Zelenskyy given the fact that the fate of Ukraine lies exclusively in the hands of Russia? Vague percentages such as the deal being “95% agreed upon” doesn’t paint a picture that Russia nor the international community can conceptualize. It seems as if the world will have to wait until the next several weeks to see what the new peace deal between Russia and Ukraine will entail. Until then, we predict that Russia will continue to gain ground in Ukraine thus strengthening both their position and bargaining power and Ukraine will continue to lose both land and what little soldiers it has left.
