RESET COMMITTEE SEEKS TO REFORM MUSIC INDUSTRY IN HOUSTON, TEXAS

[RESET COMMITTEE HOUSTON TEXAS MUSIC] With the state of Hip-Hop, Rap, and R&B changing in the City of Houston, there is one organization that appears to be leading the charge, and the name of that organization is known as the “Reset Committee”. For at least two decades, names such as Slim Thug, Scarface, Paul Wall, UGK (Underground Kings), Z-Ro and others were the dominant faces in Houston when it came to urban music. But now Public Figures such as the legendary “OG Ron C” along with Houston DJ and Rap Artist DJ II D.E.E.P. and Houston Thought Leader “Smack Water” have joined forces to bring the next generation of Houston Music artists to the forefront of Houston entertainment.
Today the Reset Committee held a Music Artist development session at 5015 – House of Legends Only, which is a local bar and music venue that is both well known in the City of Houston but more importantly is a staple in the heart of the historic community within the Third Ward. Tonight, 11 artists took to the stage in order to win the opportunity to gain assistance they need in making their dreams as a Music Artist come true.
The Reset Committee is an organization that recently held a notable town hall meeting at Community Cultivation Network (CCN) owned by Jazmin Jones, which is located at 5510 Lawndale Street, Houston, Texas within the Greater East End of the city. During the Town Hall Meeting Houston Music Artists were able to ask questions and obtain guidance from industry titans on how to further grow and accelerate their aspirations as Houston Music Artists.
We had the opportunity to interview several of those from the Reset Committee to hear what they had to say about what they are doing to aid Houston Music Artists as well as pick their brains on what Houston Music Artists should be doing in order to take their careers in music to the next level.
