[Russia nuclear weapons] Over the past three days Russia has ramped up the testing of their nuclear weapon stockpile, not with the test of older (IRBM) (ICBM models; but with three new nuclear weapons that are set to reshape the nuclear battlefield not only between the United States, but for all major nuclear powers on the world stage. Russia’s newest nuclear weapons cover both air and sea. With Russia testing its newest nuclear weapons it has caused the Trump administration to react by starting the testing of its nuclear weapons program in response.
After the deployment of Russia’s hyper sonic missile Oreshnik in Ukraine, the power of the Oreshnik devastated Ukrainian leadership, the United Kingdom, Germany, and the Americans because they had no way to counter the highly advanced technology that went into the creation, development, and deployment of the Oreshnik. Fast forward to the last three days, the newest Russian nuclear ICBM the “Burevestnik” (Storm Bringer), the underwater drone “Poseidon”, and Russia’s latest advanced submarine the “Khabarovsk” are giving America and the collective west not only a run for their money – but a reason to slow down their anti-Russian rhetoric and add addition respect when engaging Russia diplomatically.

Starting with the Burevestnik, Russian authorities describe the missile system as a “tiny flying Chernobyl” that is powered by a nuclear reactor, can remain airborne for days and can evade any nations missile defense system. The official testing of the Burevestnik lasted for 15 hours of sustained flight and covered 14,000km. This means that the Burevestnik can fly significantly greater distances than any known conventional missile and administer destruction at a higher cost.
When it came to the test of the Khabarovsk submarine, Russian military authorities described it as a “nuclear powered missile cruiser" engineered for stealth operations and equipped with advanced robotic systems. It has a surface displacement of 10,000 tons and can carry 6 Poseidon torpedoes. The torpedoes that the Khabarovsk carries are more like a drone than a traditional torpedo. According to the information released, the Poseidon can travel to speeds up to 100 knots (roughly 115mph, 51mps, 185km). has stealth capabilities, exceptionally hard to intercept, and doesn’t explode necessarily on impact.

The Poseidon also outperforms Russia's “Sarmat” ICBM and is 100 times smaller than the nuclear reactor on a submarine. The Poseidon also has second strike capability and the ability to trigger a radioactive tsunami. The implementation of a second-strike capability on the Poseidon means that if the weapon system's ability to deploy was somehow interrupted or taken offline, it still retains the ability to deploy the Poseidon as countermeasure. Russia is known to have the best Submarine, Submersible, Ballistic, Nuclear submarines (SSBN) in the world.
OUR POSITION AT VEDA WORLD NEWS
With Russia conducting the successful testing of its three newest nuclear weapons, the one thing that we can be sure of is that there's only more nuclear weapons to come. Keep in mind as technology advances, so does the creation of weapons. Another that came out of Russia successfully testing their newest nuclear weapons is that it caused the Trump administration to ramp up the testing of its nuclear weapons in response. The question is why haven’t the American military not been testing the readiness of its nuclear arsenal prior to Russia testing its newest nuclear agreement? Also, with Russia testing its nuclear weapons, one can’t help but wonder about what Russia's actions symbolize in the face of the collective west. Is Russia asking for respect on the world stage or demanding it? Or could it be that Russia is sending a warning to America and the collective west?
Here at VEDA World News, we think that it’s a complex combination of all of the above. The reason for our positioning is that we take the position that Russia truly doesn’t seek to have war with America or anyone else for that matter as they see war as counterproductive to the advancement of not only Russia but to all countries. In contrast, Russia also understands that the American and the collective west cannot be trusted and thus from the perspective of self-preservation, Russia must ensure the survival and integrity, sovereignty, and its future as a country.
A country like America only understands and respects one thing and that is a country that inflicts violence and devastation that’s greater than its own. Russia knows this and seeks to leverage that knowledge on the world stage.
