SENATOR MIKE LEE CALLS FOR AMERICA TO LEAVE NATO
SENATOR MIKE LEE (above) CALLS FOR AMERICA TO LEAVE NATO

[Senator Mike Lee calls for America to leave NATO] Yesterday, American Senator Mike Lee (R-UTAH), introduced a bill to congress that would allow the United States from NATO. The name of the bill is called “Not A Trusted Organization (NATO) Act”. The reason for the Senator creating the bill and introducing it to congress is not only that it's his position that NATO “has run it’s course”, but NATO has made “American taxpayers pick up the bill for decades”. If the bill is passed it would put President Trump in the position to denounce American membership in NATO which will require President Trump to notify the North Atlantic Council in accordance with Article 13 of the North Atlantic Treaty. Senator Mike Lee's NATO bill comes on the heels of President Donald Trump pushing for all NATO members to increase their military defense spending to 5% (for the exception of Spain - temporarily).

Senator Mike Lee stated the following to the Press:

“America’s withdrawal from NATO is long overdue. NATO has run its course – the threats that existed at its inception are no longer relevant 76 years later. If they were, Europe would be paying their fair share instead of making American taxpayers pick up the check for decades.”

Senator Mike Lee has also introduced two additional bills entitled the “NATO Burden Sharing Report Act” and the “Allied Burden Sharing Report Act” which would guide the American Congress in assessing which NATO members are paying their fair share of defense spending for their collective defense. The “NATO burden Sharing Report Act” and the “Allied Burden Sharing Report Act” is currently backed by Republican Senators Marsha Blackburn and Rand Paul.

OUR POSITION AT VEDA COMMUNICATIONS

If the United States pulls out of NATO it would only send a confirmation to the critics of NATO that NATO and Europe is no longer relevant on the world stage. It is also our position that the European nations within NATO are planning for the United States to pull from NATO and have been making plans for quite some time. However, because they (European member nations) have become so dependent on the United States to maintain the status quo within NATO, they’ve simply reduced themselves to the point that have become nothing more than vassal states of the United States who job is to bow and bend to the wishes of the United States.

Even with Germany's Friedrich  Merz’s attempting to take the lead within NATO, Germany doesn't have the power, economic means, nor the support required to lead NATO. In fact, the German military is facing severe problems when it comes to filling their own military ranks at the current moment. In terms of the United Kingdom taking the lead in NATO, it too is far too weak and lacks the influence needed to play a significant role in leading NATO. In short, NATO is fucked with or without the United States being a member country.

In the world of geopolitics, alliances are very much needed – but everything today in a multipolar world is pointing to the indication that the NATO alliance has become antiquated. The question is when NATO dissolves, what kind of alliance will fill the vacuum? Our position is that the European nations that once comprised NATO will ban together, and Ukraine just might become part of it. If this occurs; Russia will act. Hence this will result in the restacking of a line of domino’s that Russia can't wait to knock down.
