[Political assassination Senator's John Hoffman & Melissa Hortman] Over the weekend (Saturday), Minnesota Senator John Hoffman (60-Democrat) and his wife Yvette Hoffman and Senator Melissa Hortman (55 Democrat) and her husband Mark Hortman were killed by what appears to be a lone gunman at their residences. Minnesota law-enforcement authorities have declared the killing of these two politicians as victims of “targeted political violence” with some calling it an act of assassination and an official manhunt is underway for a 57-year-old prime suspect by the name of “Vance Luther Boelter”. Vance Luther Boelter was impersonating a law-enforcement officer. Minnesota law-enforcement officials are offering a $50,000 reward for any tips that lead to his arrest.

Sources say that John Hoffman and his wife were shot several times in Champlin area but are in stable condition and the attack was executed roughly nine miles (15km) away from the fatal shootings of Melissa Hortman and her husband who were killed in Brooklyn Park. An emergency call to Senator John Hoffman home was placed at 0200 (2a.m.) followed by another emergency call to Senator Melissa Hortman’s home in which police fired shots at Vance Luther Boelter at 0353 (3:35am).

WHAT IS KNOWN ABOUT VANCE LUTHER BOELTER

According to law-enforcement sources, it's probable that Vance Luther Boelter either is affiliated with the American military or has had a significant degree of both military and security training. They also reported that he aided in leading a security firm by the name of Praetorian Guard Service located in the twin cities area. He is also married and has children, and his wife hasn’t spoken to the Press. Minnesota law-enforcement authorities also stated that he wore a “realistic latex mask” at the time of the shootings and was in possession of a “kill list” with the names of dozens of Minnesota politicians written on it. All of the names on Vance Luther Boelter’s list were supporters of abortion rights.

if there is a connection between Senator’s john Hoffman and Melissa Hortman and the rest of the politicians on Vance Luther Boelter’s kill list when it comes to abortion rights and advocates, then it may be safe to infer that his motivation may lies in that fact that he takes as pro-life stance on the issue of abortion. We are also included to induce that Vance Luther Boelter, may perceive his killing of Senator john Hoffman and Melissa Hortman as “justified” because he may view them “baby killers”. However, one should never rule out the notion of him acting as a sort of “hitman” for another party either.

More than likely law enforcement will capture Vance Luther Boelter and bring him to justice. This leaves the question of are there any other “Vance Luther Boelter’s out there?”.  Even though the topic of abortion is a highly sensitive topic in America, the probability is mild that there are others out there that may think and feel just as he does and have the drive to commit acts of violence on this scale.
